2023 SENIORS!

ALEXANDER JOHNSTON #4 Bernards HS (not pictured) - Alex joined the BSM Hockey Program for his Senior year. He enjoys the camaraderie amongst his teammates and will look to play hockey while pursuing Business Management and Marketing at either High Point University or Western University

ANDREW DOUGHERTY #13 Somerville HS - Andrew has greatly enjoyed playing hockey and making friends over the years with his teammates on BSM and with the Hunterdon Bears. After graduating,  Andrew plans on attending college to study Engineering.

STEPHEN PARISI #28 Middlesex HS - Stephen has been an avid hockey player his whole life, starting with roller hockey and evolving to ice hockey. He has played for several clubs and started his BSM career on the Middle School Team and then 4 years as a versatile Varsity player. Stephen is looking forward to playing for years to come and is still deciding on his options for post-graduation

TROY CUTTIC #2 Middlesex HS - Troy is a 4 year Varsity Defenseman. His first time on skates was in Pre-school, on local ponds, back when they used to freeze. He then picked up roller hockey and  even stepped up to play goalie for the U8 Championship game, bringing home the trophy.  Troy played travel hockey until 8th grade, when he decided to play solely for BSM.  He's grateful for the friends he's made on the team,  the times he was on "The Cuttic 'D' line"  with his brother , and being a part of the Charette Division Championship team for 2 years. He is excited to study Marine Science at Coastal Carolina U. and spend his free time learning how to surf and SCUBA dive.

CAM JELINEK #20 Bernards HS - Cam will miss his teammates, the locker room banter, and re-watching the game on the MSS YouTube channel. He enjoyed the switch from the Skylands conference freshman year to the MCSSIHL. Back-to-back Charette Cup wins was certainly a highlight and he is looking forward to a run at the Haas Division title. Regardless, his time with BSM is something he will always remember.

JUSTIN GORDON Capt. #5 Middlesex HS - In Justin's 12 year hockey career he has only worn the number 5 on his back. He will forever remember the friendship of his teammates as he moves to Eastern Carolina U. to major in Exercise Science and Kinesiology.

TANNER CLEMSON Capt. #8 Bernards HS - Tanner plans to go to school to become a dentist. He will remember the unique relationships he has formed with his teammates and coaches and all of the fun he has had with high school hockey.

TIM JELINEK #23 Bernards HS - This will be the end of Tim's hockey career but he hopes to play club or pick-up hockey in college. He will miss the team, the practices, and the friends made from three different high schools. The repeat Charette Cup championships are something he will always remember and will certainly never forget the rush of adrenaline before a game and the feeling of accomplishment after a hard fought victory.

WILL ROGUS #29 Somerville HS - Will has enjoyed playing with BSM for the past 4 years and is proud to be a part of the immense growth and success the team has experienced. Always enthusiastic, he has loved blocking shots and being able to play defense in front of some awesome goalies in Maggie S. and Baylyn S. (even picking up a win as a fill-in goalie last season).  With his love of tools, machinery and construction, he hopes to repeat as the New Jersey High School SkillsUSA State Champion in carpentry and plans to become a Union Carpenter after high school.

TANNER CLEMSON - After 12 years of hard work and sweat, my hockey career is finally coming to an end.  The relationships I have made from hockey are some of my best and I appreciate every teammate who was willing to fight for every game with me.  I have learned so much on the ice that has helped shape my character.  I can not pick a favorite memory but the best time I’ve had in hockey was after big, hard-fought wins.  BSM has by far been one of my favorite groups to play with and I am very grateful for the teammates, coaches and parents for an amazing experience.  This is definitely not how I imagined ending my hockey career but I can’t imagine a better group of people to be surrounded by.

TIM and CAM JELINEK have  loved playing hockey since they were 4 years old. They have played at Essex Hunt and the Rockets in the past.  Cam and Tim have always been competitive and motivated each other to try and improve their games. They have loved playing with their Bernards teammates. Back to back Charrette Cup wins after a tough freshman year was a highlight. It is still undecided where each of them will go, but they are looking forward to leaving for college in the fall.
